Iran plans to increase the range of naval missile systems
An announcement on Tuesday by the deputy Navy commander told us that the Navy has plans to upgrade their missile system’s rage to boost the country’s retaliating abilities.
Rear Admiral Gholam-Reza Khadem Bigham told the IRNA last Tuesday, in an interview that was published, that the range of their missile systems will be increased. Especially the systems that are currently placed near the coastal areas, and also the naval vessel’s missile systems.
“This measure is aimed at increased the capabilities of armed forces,” he said. “It’s a major national plan to increase the range of the missile systems.”
The commander also stated elsewhere in his remarks that the maximum height of power of the Navy has been reached, and they’re prepared to defend the country.
