Iran to equip the Lebanese Armed Forces

Iran’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Roknabadi looked into Tehran’s interest in upgrading and equipping the Lebanese Army during a discussion with Bierut’s Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn.

During the discussion, which centred on the review of local and Arab situations, Roknabadi emphasized, Iran being on Lebanon’s side is prepared to offer any help that it requires at all levels specifically in regards to the army’s armanent.

He went further to rehearse Iran’s invitation to Ghosn to travel to Tehran in order to address the Iranian officials arrangements on military aid to the Lebanese Army.

Ghosn applauded Iran’s support for the country of Lebanon and highlighted the importance of boosting relations between the two countries.
